2018 RHODE ISLAND ELECTION CALENDAR AND HOW TO RUN FOR OFFICE GUIDE HAVE BEEN RELEASED 

The 2018 Statewide Primaries will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. 

The 2018 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE HAS PASSED

The period for candidates to file their Declarations of Candidacy ended on June 27 at 4:00 PM.  Here is a list of candidates who have filed for local office:  List of local candidates - Newport - 2018
