Three times a year, the Recreation Department will publish an activities brochure listing any programs or events being offered during that time.  This brochure is mailed and emailed out in the fall, winter, and spring/summer; and can also be found here.  Anyone wishing to be added to the mailing list can contact the Recreation office at 845-5800.

The majority of our programs are open to both Newport residents and non-residents.  Many of the programs have limited enrollment and registration deadlines.  Some programs may fill prior to the deadline.

Registration can be done in person, by visiting the Recreation office at 35 Golden Hill Street, by mail, or by fax at (401) 846-3627. Scanned registrations to brubin@cityofnewport.com are also accepted.   Registrations cannot be accepted over the phone.  Participants are considered registered when payment is received.  The Recreation Department accepts cash, check and Visa or MasterCard.  There are no refunds once a program begins.
